Operates in both the renewable and conventional energy sectors, aiming to drive the energy transition.Role: As an EHS professional, you will have a critical role in maintaining health and safety standards in our office workplace, as well as at our customer sites. Your responsibilities will revolve around minimising risks, ensuring a healthy working environment, and adhering to health and safety regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, maintain, and implement safety programs, EHS initiatives, and campaignsAnalyse statistical data and reports to identify safety-related problems and develop recommendations for improvement.Regularly perform safety checks and inspections to ensure compliance with standards and maintain a safe working environment.Assess risks and advise employers and employees on occupational health.Investigate workplace accidents.Be knowledgeable of legal requirements and implement them within our business.Support risk assessment associated with site tasks. Review and approve EHS Plans for use at Customer sites.Ensure that legal requirements are understood, implemented, and maintained in our office workplace and at Customer sites.Maintain the EHS Aspect table updated reviewing periodically with stakeholders. Promote a proactive health, safety and environmental culture.Manage the EHS training program.Participate in EHS audits as required.Experience & Qualification Required5+ years as an EHS professionalBachelor’s degree or equivalent in EHS or a related fieldNEBOSH diploma strongly preferredFire Safety Competent Person training and certificationKnowledge of ISO14001 and 45001 specificationsISO Auditor qualification and experience preferredTrained in Root Cause Analysis methodologiesStrong PowerPoint skills and ability to present to people of all levels.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.What we offer:We believe that benefits should connect you to the support you need when it matters most, and should help you care for those who matter most.
