SRG are working with a leading pharmaceutical company based in Maidenhead. They are seeking an Associate Brand Manager to join their team.

Primary Focus:

The Established Brands (EB) Associate brand manager will be accountable for developing and delivering marketing tactics to support key brands within the EB portfolio, which is worth c.�40 million. Also, the postholder will be expected to share and discuss the material with customers, in a sales context.

Key focus includes:

  • Execution & delivery of EB strategy and brand plan.
  • Developing promotional material with creative agencies, and leveraging existing materials, and those created by global brand teams.
  • Working closely with medical / regulatory teams to ensure that materials created are compliant with relevant codes.
  • Learning and using systems such as Veeva / Promo Mats, for marketing material approval.
  • Placing materials with media companies and customers. Also possibly placing materials with companies such as Amazon.
  • Adhering to budgets during the material development and placement process.
  • Reviewing metrics such as click through rates views, etc., to understand how successful the materials have been, and developing / enhancing them accordingly.
  • Deputizing on specific areas for the established brands commercial lead, i.e. vaporizer logistics, customer enquiries, etc.
  • customer enquiries, etc.

Accountability:

Reports to the Established Brands Commercial lead, whilst also accepting direction from the Head of Contracts & Pricing, and other leaders from within the team.

Profile:

  • The candidate will already have prior marketing experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • The candidate will look to complete further professional qualifications such as Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). They will also undertake industry qualifications such the Association of British Pharmaceutical industry (APBI) Sales certification.
  • The candidate will be curious to learn more about the products, and commercial opportunities. They will also need drive to follow projects through from inception through to launch, in an environment where they will have a lot of autonomy. They will have an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Degree level qualification in Business or Marketing based degree, or equivalent.
