Requirements:

• Ability to carry out a variety of cleaning tasks indoors and outdoors
• Ability to understand basic written and verbal instructions including equipment operating instructions and the correct use of cleaning chemicals
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

As an Estate Caretaker, you duties will include:

• Delivery of a high standard of caretaking, cleaning, health & safety and maintenance services across specified neighbourhoods.
• This includes cleaning internal and external communal areas of high rise and low rise blocks and other housing communal areas.
• Entrance halls to be swept and mopped, lifts to be cleaned and carpeted areas to be vacuumed.
• Daily / weekly inspections
• Litter picking and rubbish removal
• Using chemicals to remove Graffiti within specified timescales
• Using chemicals to clean where necessary
• Provide assistance to customers with general housing related queries, liaising with Neighbourhood Caretakers, Area Neighbourhood Caretakers and other BCC colleagues.
• Salary - £12.00 - £12.62 per hour
• hours - 35 weekly hours
• Monday to Friday 07.00am - 3.00pm
