Our client is seeking a unique individual who will appreciate the history, beauty and continued potential of the stately home where they will be working.

The role is based at a stunning property in Suffolk, which has been totally brought back to life by the current owner and now offers tours of the house and gardens, venue hire and events throughout the year. Ideally, they would like to meet with individuals who feel they can continue the transition the current owner has created, moving things forward for a younger generation.

Whether or not you're a graduate, qualified or experienced in the sector, if you have aspirations to use your talent in a different way this could be an opportunity you don't want to miss. If you can bring enthusiasm, dedication and vision to your work our client will want to hear from you.

Organisation will be one of your key skills, along with event organising, overseeing staff and estate upkeep. As the property is open to the public, communication skills and tact will be high on the agenda.

About you:

  • Able to liaise at all levels
  • An interest in historic property and a love of buildings
  • Good organisation
  • People person who is practical and capable
  • Able to manage a staff of up to 20 people
  • Able to coordinate high volumes of visitors throughout the year

You will consider your job a lifestyle and embrace every challenge and opportunity the role of running a stately home presents. This is not a "9-5" job, you will become a vital part of the whole operation of the estate and will dedicate yourself to the smooth running thereof.
