Salary : up to £60k DOE
Location : Home Based- Travel when required (office available in London, Reading or Manchester if preferred)
Hours: 08:00-17:00
Overview:
Pareto are currently looking for an experienced Facilities Management Estimating Manager to manage and quote FM tenders, in line with our growth strategy.

As our Estimating Manager, you must have a proven track record in a similar role and have a good understanding of the FM and Maintenance industry. You will report into the Sales Director and support them with preparing winning tenders, bids, and presentations to continue winning new business.
The successful Estimating Manager must be able to accurately labourload and price competitive tenders involving multiple self-delivered and subcontracted service lines, tracking forecasted gross margin contributions, support handover off successful tenders to the operations team and contribute to technical solutioning.
This is a new role for Pareto and the perfect opportunity for an Estimating Manager who is looking to take on more responsibility and be an integral part of our management team.
Key responsibilities :
End to End management of the estimating process
Early understanding of the full tender and submission requirements
Identifying opportunities on which to submit bids
Compilation of a detailed cost model- for review by the Pareto Sales Director
Supply chain management for obtaining quotes for new business tenders
Collaboration with Key members of the team to obtain the information required to complete the bid
Work with the sales team to develop a clear strategy for each bid
Research current and future applicable market trends relating to Facilities Management pricing
Setting out input requirements and agreeing realistic deadlines in line with bid timescales
Ensuring all relevant parties are engaged with and kept up to date throughout the process
Drive continuous improvement through internal and customer reviews
Experience, knowledge and qualifications:
Relevant engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent)
Strong Facilities Industry Knowledge
Submitting completed pricing models to an existing or prospective client, on time and within budget
Proven track record in FM tendering
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, particularly engineering and Account management
The ability to work to tight deadlines and reprioritise workload in line with changing demands
The ability to maintain a flexible attitude to work task and workload to ensure tender deadlines are achieved
Competency in MS Office software, notably Excel
Creative thinking
Problem solving skills
Strong commercial awareness
