Job Title: Estimator – Architectural Metal

Location: Sheffield or surrounding areas
Remuneration: £35,000 - £50,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Estimator – Architectural Metal will involve:

• Estimator position dealing with a high end range of architectural metal systems such as: balustrades, balconies, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases


• Carrying out take-offs from drawings and measurements to produce bills of quantities/price schedules


• Dealing with enquiries from various clients via phone calls and emails


• Preparing and submitting accurate and detailed tenders within the timeframe provided


• Following up all submitted tenders, receiving feedback from clients and updating records accordingly


• Conduct handover meetings passing secured projects to our production team


• Continue to develop relationships with clients to secure further business


• Liaising with colleagues to facilitate the progression of tenders and projects


• Producing estimates for projects ranging from £100k to £1m in value

The ideal applicant will be Estimator – Architectural Metal with:

• Must have estimating experience within the architectural metal market sector, dealing with balustrades, balconies, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases


• Must have sound Excel and AutoCAD skills


• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal


• High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills


• Ideally will have experience dealing with commercial and residential projects


• Driven, enthusiastic, comfortable working autonomously
