Estimator - Roofing, Cladding, Facades

Our client, a leading name in the roofing industry, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join their expanding team.

With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality roofing solutions across various projects, our client is looking for a professional who can accurately assess costs, prepare competitive bids, and ensure projects are completed on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for roofing projects, including materials, labor, and overheads.
• Analyze tender documents, project specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate scoping.
• Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain quotes and ensure competitive pricing.
• Review project plans and assess potential risks, site conditions, and material requirements.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to identify cost-effective and high-quality suppliers.
• Assist in preparing and submitting bids for roofing projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Monitor project costs and provide ongoing support to ensure budgets are adhered to.
• Provide value engineering and cost-saving solutions during the estimating process.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to enhance project success.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the roofing or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of roofing materials, systems, and project requirements.
• Proficient in estimating software, MS Office, and other relevant tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to assess costs effectively.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.
• Relevant qualifications (Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field).
