We are currently seeking experienced Estimators in the field of sprinkler systems to join our construction team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the bidding process by accurately estimating the cost and time required to complete projects related to sprinkler system installations. Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to analyze project specifications will ensure that our bids are competitive and profitable.



In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates. You will review blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation to identify necessary materials, labour, and equipment. Additionally, you will prepare and submit detailed proposals, including pricing breakdowns and project timelines.



Successful candidates will have a strong background in construction, preferably specializing in sprinkler systems. You should possess excellent mathematical and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and drawings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential in this role, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders, such as project managers, vendors, and clients.



Responsibilities




  • Analyze project specifications to determine materials, labor, and equipment requirements

  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for sprinkler system installations

  • Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings to identify project scope and requirements

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project expectations

  • Consult with vendors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing for materials and equipment

  • Prepare comprehensive proposals, including pricing breakdowns and project timelines

  • Maintain accurate records of project estimates, bids, and related documentation



Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specifications

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
