Position Overview: The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for architectural metalwork and structural steel projects. This role involves detailed analysis of project requirements, cost calculation, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for architectural metalwork and structural steel projects.

  • Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs to provide accurate project pricing.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

  • Present estimates to senior management and clients, providing clear and concise explanations.

  • Monitor project budgets and costs throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bid submissions.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and market trends.



Qualifications and Experience:




  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the architectural metalwork and structural steel industry.

  • Strong understanding of architectural drawings and specifications.

  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field are desirable.
