Estimator role
 

• Issuing detailed quotations to customers, taking off information from drawings received


• Dealing with queries over the phone, such as pricing or technical queries,


• Carrying out detailed calculations


• Handling my own set of customers and ensuring all quotations, comments or drawings are issued back in a timely fashion. Along with chasing the customer for a response to ensure no delays to the site,


• Ensuring all enquiries are returned within the agreed timescale


• Issuing detailed fabrication drawings


• Liaising with suppliers to issue detailed drawings for approval

• Able to read technical drawings


• Basic use of AUTOCAD


• Good communication
