I am looking to speak with Intermediate/Assistant Estimators who would be interested in joining a reputable main contractor based in Oxfordshire.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience�Required




  • Level 5 Construction Management // Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Surveying or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in construction estimating, preferably with a principal contractor.

  • Proficiency in construction estimating software will be an advantage.

  • Experienced in using Microsoft programs and software.

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret complex plans and specifications

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates and documentation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, design teams, clients, and subcontractors.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, problem solve and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet challenging deadlines.

  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and contracts (particularly the JCT Suite).

  • Experience with value engineering and cost optimisation strategies is a plus.

  • Professional certifications such as CIOB, RICS, or similar are desirable but not essential (subject to level of experience).
