The company:

A regional Main Contractor who specialise in projects ranging from �1m - �15m in value. Projects will include Residential, Commercial and Education schemes.

The project:

You will be focused on upcoming new build residential schemes.

The role:

Reporting into a Commercial Manager your role will involve but not be limited to:

• Develop project budgets based on estimates and provide cost information to project managers and clients


• Assist to prepare and submit competitive bids and tenders for new projects


• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible deals


• Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with project costs and timelines


• Suggest alternative materials or methods that can achieve cost savings


• Monitor project costs against estimates and budgets, identifying any variances


• Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, tender submissions, and correspondence with suppliers and subcontractors

About you:

• Previous recent experience as an Estimator


• Qualified in a related field to HNC or above standard


• Experience working on schemes of a similar value�would be preferable, but not essential
