About the opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team and take on the following responsibilities:
- Identify client needs and project requirements.
- Research materials, equipment, and labour costs.
- Gather quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assess project risks and mitigation strategies.
- Analyse company data, exchange rates, and pricing using software tools.
- Monitor project costs against estimates and budgets, identifying variances.
- Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, tender submissions, and correspondence with suppliers and subcontractors.
About the benefits and rewards:
The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to �48k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.
About the requirements:
- Proven experience in construction estimating; formal training or qualifications are preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and materials.
- Ability to work clearly and accurately under pressure.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Maths, English, and IT.
