Estimator

Estimator required for a leading precision engineering company offering 60 years of excellence and state-of-the-art equipment to supply a wide range of industries.
This opportunity is based in Huddersfield, meaning that the successful Estimator will be able to easily commute from surrounding towns and cities including; Dewsbury, Mirfield, Halifax, Bradford, Wakefield and Barnsley.
Key Responsibilities of the Estimator will include;

• Managing, maintaining and developing the company's existing relationships
• Identifying potential new clients and business opportunities
• Respond to requests from clients with detailed quotations
• Work collaboratively with other departments including production to ensure clients needs can be met
• Maintain a good understanding of clients and their business strategies
• Act as the first point of contact for clients

For the role of Estimator, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who have;

• Experience as an Estimator or similar within a precision engineering environment
• A good understanding of quotation for technical engineering components
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings
• Experience developing client accounts and providing top quality customer service

Salary & Benefits;

• �35,000 to �40,000 (Depending on experience)
• Mon - Thur 7.30am - 4.00pm
• Fri 7.30am - 12.30am
• 8% Combined pension
