Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator looking to work with a leading residential contractor? We're seeking a highly motivated individual to join our growing team and help drive the successful delivery of our residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare cost estimates for residential projects, including new builds, renovations, and extensions.


• Work closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines.


• Source and review supplier quotes and labor costs to ensure competitive pricing.


• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and plans to provide detailed cost breakdowns.


• Provide accurate take-offs and perform site visits to assess potential costs.


• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project delivery within budget.


• Monitor ongoing costs throughout the project to provide updates and adjustments to the client or team.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a construction estimator, ideally within the residential sector.


• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and techniques.


• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.


• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Excel.


• Excellent attention to detail, time-management, and organizational skills.


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Ability to work independently and within a team.


• A relevant qualification in construction, surveying, or engineering is desirable.
