Position Highlights:

• Role: Estimator - Residential Groundworks
• Location: Southampton (office-based with potential site visits as required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential groundworks projects
• Analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive tender submissions
• Identifying project risks and presenting solutions to mitigate potential issues
• Collaborating with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure cost accuracy
• Monitoring and managing project costs, providing regular updates and reports
• Applying value engineering principles to maximize efficiency and profitability
• Maintaining a solid understanding of current market trends, materials, and construction methodologies

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Previous experience as an Estimator in the residential groundworks sector
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in industry-relevant software and tools
