Swift Specialist Recruitment are looking for a EU Road Freight BDM for one of our most prestigious clients based in St Helens.



Your Responsibilities:




  • Strategic Sales Planning:�Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting new clients in the road EU freight industry.

  • Opportunity Identification:�Utilise your industry knowledge and network to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.

  • Relationship Building:�Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including freight forwarders, logistics providers, and clients.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:�Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer solutions and exceed client expectations.

  • Market Insight:�Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to proactively identify growth opportunities.



What We're Looking For:




  • Proven Experience:�Demonstrated success in business development within the road EU freight industry.

  • Industry Expertise:�Deep understanding of road freight operations, including EU regulations and trade routes.

  • Communication Skills:�Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Sales Acumen:�Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
