The desk is looking for hard working and curious minded professionals, passionate about fundamental research of stocks and industries. Ideal candidates must also be able to communicate effectively and express complex ideas clearly and succinctly. /p p br /p ul li You will report directly to the Senior Portfolio Manager heading European equities, a 20-year+ equity investor veteran. /li li You will be working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment with a high-achieving team who is driven by professional goals but also shares common human values of team spirit and inclusiveness. /li /ul p br /p p strong Your responsibilities: /strong /p p Your primary task will be to: /p ul li Conduct company investment research to an validate investment thesis – including financial analysis, due diligence on industry trends, company management and strategies and ESG impact and risks /li /ul p You will be expected to: /p ul li Attend industry conferences, conduct meetings with management teams, industry leaders to build stronger understanding of underlying industry, competitive dynamics, business drivers, strategic direction and ESG impact and risks /li li Maintain up-to-date knowledge of verticals/industry happenings and current events /li li Develop insightful financial modelling and valuation: quickly input data into models to arrive to insightful charts, dashboards and conclusions /li li Produce high quality investment research memos and document research findings /li li Articulate clearly and succinctly investment conclusions in both formal presentations and more informal discussions with PM /li li Assist in building and continuously improving the team’s ESG tools and framework /li li Regularly turn insight on specific verticals and company trends into short original content aimed for clients and wider audience on digital media /li li Create and maintain layout templates for frequently used research notes, models, charts, and exhibits /li /ul p br /p p strong Your qualifications: /strong /p ul li 7+ years’ experience on either the sell- or buy-side as an Equity Research Analyst with Consumer sector expertise. /li li CFA or equivalent is valued /li /ul p br /p p strong Your soft skills: /strong /p ul li Ability to communicate effectively and express complex ideas succinctly – both written and verbal /li li Evidence of clear analytical thinking /li li Ability to work in a thorough, systematic and methodical way /li li Behavioural awareness, open mindedness, and ability to incorporate new elements quickly into actionable thinking /li li Ability to work under deadline pressure while managing to stay on top of daily newsflow and tasks /li li Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail /li li Ownership and follow-through on projects to completion, never letting today’s task to tomorrow even if it means staying long hours /li li Driven and entrepreneurial spirit, initiative, and ambition /li /ul p br /p p strong Your technical skills: /strong /p ul li MS Office, high familiarity with Bloomberg /li li Strong equity research skills with strength in financial analysis/modelling gained from experience working in a similar role /li li Deep curiosity to analyse and understand business models, industry dynamics, and competitive analysis in details /li li Understanding of financial markets, investment theories and asset valuations /li li Effective communication skills, both written and verbal /li li Ability to synthesize and communicate large amounts of information in succinct manner /li li Ability to code in VBA Excel or Python a plus /li /ul p br /p p For a discreet and confidential conversation please feel free to contact me directly on email at strong ##### /strong or on my direct line strong +353 1 697 8631 /strong /p
