European Road Freight Operations Manager

Location: Castleford

Salary: circa �45,000 (DOE)

An exciting, new opportunity for a European Road Freight Operations Manager is now available in the Castleford area.
If you have previous experience working as a Senior Freight Operations position for a UK based Freight Forwarder and have a background working with European Road Freight, this role will be great for you!

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 17:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and Manage the on-site Operations Team.
• Monitor KPIs.
• Client liaison for the European Road freight client base.
• Support with the management of Key Accounts for the business.
• Be hands on with freight quotations for export and import freight shipments, operational administration, including customs clearance formalities, for clients and suppliers.
• Managing the European Road freight consignments in transit through to successful completion and delivery.

Requirements:

• Hands on freight forwarding experience in European Road Freight.
• Experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder.
• Import and Export operations experience.
• Leadership experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
