The Sales Manager isresponsible for building, managing, and maintaining a strong salesteam directed toward growing FORMULATRIX market share, revenue, andprofitability consistent with strategic business goals. This will beaccomplished through the implementation and execution of a businessplan, business and channel development, and effective hiring anddeveloping sales talent. The Sales Manager will be responsible formanaging and collaborating with the marketing manager to maximize thevalue and ROI of lead generation, demand generation, and businessdevelopment activities. The Sales Manager will be responsiblefor managing and driving profitable business growth in Europe and willwork closely with the company president, marketing managers, productmanagers, and support team to develop strategies, tactics, and salesplans to meet or exceed our annual instrumentation, consumable, andmaintenance sales goals. The Sales Manager is responsible forproviding accurate sales forecasts for manufacturing build plans andfinancial reporting. In addition, the Sales Manager will beresponsible for developing an overall European market strategy with anemphasis on liquid handling for sample preparation in genomics anddrug discovery research. The Sales Manager will effectively manageheadcount and other budgeted expense/revenue plans to improve overallprofitability while driving growth. Requirements BS or higher degree in the Life Sciencesor equivalent experience 3 years successfully building andmanaging a team of sales representatives Experience sellingcapital equipment Strong pipeline and activity analysisskills Ability to travel up to 50% Preferred Requirements PhD inthe Life Sciences 5 years managing sales teams sellingcapital equipment in the Life Sciences space Broad industryknowledge of liquid handling, genomics, and drug discovery workflows Extensive knowledge of B2B selling throughout Europe FORMULATRIX requires hard work and dedication fromits employees and is committed to hiring only the best of the best.
