Event Sales Director

EVENT SALES DIRECTOR FINANCIAL SERVICES Mark Allen is a leading media organisation with 550 dedicated professionals across 7 offices, and we're excited to be recruiting anEvent Sales Director to join our event salesteam. This hybrid position offers a blend of in-office collaboration (3 days a week). We offera salary range between£50,000 - £60,000 (DOE), plus OTE and company benefits . You'll receive thorough on-the-job training and continuous support to ensure your success. Your events - Key Responsibilities: Commercial responsibility for approximately 30 events, predominantly at London-based venues, while leading event sales efforts across the UK and Europe to drive revenue growth. Manage and expand relationships with global asset management professionals. Represent our brand at industry events, establishing a strong presence. Oversee event marketing and promotion in collaboration with our central marketing team. Develop and manage a global event calendar that aligns with market demands. Candidate Profile: An understanding of the asset and wealth management sector is preferable, otherwise awillingness to learn and embrace this fantastic sector. Confidence tonetwork and buildrelationships across the financial sector. Confident in taking a senior role within a friendly andhigh-performing team. A determinationto meet/exceed sales targets on both event-specific and monthly bases. Unphased byworking to tight deadlines. Flexible and adaptive approach to achieving work goals.
