I am working with an Events business who are seeking a new individual to join the team to head up the Landowner Management team. The role will oversee all day-to-day relationships with Landowners, site teams and rights holders as well as playing an integral part in the delivery of summer live pop-up events.
\nYou'll have two reports, with the opportunity to scale the team further.
\nYou will be responsible for:
\n· As a head of department role you will work alongside the Senior Management team in the delivery of all events, commercial partnerships and activations.
\n· A predominantly office-based role reporting into the CCO, however there will be a need to be regularly meeting with Landowners, rights holders & site teams across the year, in particular London based clients.
\n· Leading and managing the LOAM team and help them to run their sectors
\n· Act as the internal knowledge hub for or all channels and events.
\n· Working closely with the Commercial Estate Director, creating knowledge hubs and being the internal point of contact for all other teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations and Tech.
\n· Take the lead with the external communications around all event/activation delivery, supporting your Account Managers in project delivery.
\n\nYou will have:
\n· Experience of managing a team working across different skill sets and job roles, and collaborating with them to achieve desired results
\n· You will have experience in dealing with a variety of landowners, site teams, sporting rights holders & stakeholders.
\n· Strong communication skills to ensure all teams across the business understand each project & event.
\n· Excellent stakeholder management, being able to adapt your communication and management style to the situation
\n· Good written skills
\n· High attention to detail
\n· Knowledge of Microsoft Office essential
\n· Innovation and creativity, to create engaging brand opportunities across sites & locations for the sales team to take to market or deliver on briefs.
\n· Have a commercial mindset.
\n· You will have experience of working in the events space
\n· Understand the logistics that go into delivering projects across private and public realm.
\n· Understand what paperwork and qualifications are needed to be allowed to build and run an event on private and public realm.
\n· An understanding of health and safety matters
\n· The ability to manage and multi-task across different types of projects and events
\n· Experience of working with contractors.
\n· Have an interest in sport, a knowledge of when major sporting events are happening and an idea of who broadcasts these major events.
\n· Is calm under pressure and thinks laterally when facing challenges.
