Events Assistant

We have an exciting temporary opportunity to work for a professional Conference & Exhibition centre for an event taking place at Manchester Central from Sunday 28th April- 30th April 2025.
If you are looking for short terms work and have a background in Events, Conference or Hospitality with a passion for customer service and a can do attitude we want to hear from you!
There are multiple opportunities available as follows:

Events Assistant:

• Registering delegates / exhibitors / speakers to the event
• Producing badges - good keyboard skills essential
• Scanning visitors to the various sessions
• Liaising with chair person to ensure they have everything the need
• Working along AV tech re presentations, using a microphone at end for Q&A sessions (handing over to the person asking then taking it back)
• Working within the exhibition hall, hanging posters on poster boards at various times, removing for relevant companies / individuals

What you need to have be considered for the roles:

• Experience within events or conference and exhibitions
• Previous hospitality and front of house experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Can do attitude
• Able to commit to all shits required at the event
• Able to meet the corporate smart dress code for the duration of the event
