Ex Forces Vehicle Technician

We’re hiring for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a dedicated and skilled workforce at an advanced manufacturing facility based in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

What will you be doing as a Vehicle Technician?

• Maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles in line with industry standards


• Diagnosing faults using technical documents and tools


• Implementing quality, safety, and environmental systems and processes


• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations


• Maintaining a high standard of planning and organisation to ensure efficient operation


• Communicating effectively with team members and management

What do you need?

• Ex-forces highly advantageous


• 5+ years’ experience as a HGV Mechanic / Vehicle Technician


• HGV Mechanic Certification (City and Guilds / NVQ)


• Level 3 Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance


• Experience in vehicle assembly or maintenance (Desirable)


• A solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems


• Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills
