Location: Doncaster

Pay Scale: £94 to £105 per Day

Start Date: November 2024

The Role:

GSL Education is a national, ethical, independent recruitment provider, seeking several Exam Invigilators to undertake reading and scribing and hall invigilation roles for our client schools located in Doncaster starting from November 2024.

We are looking to recruit candidates who have strong communication skills, are reliable and have calm demeanor. Hours of work are flexible and are agreed in advance of the commencement of the exam period. The ideal candidate will supervise students taking internal and external examinations throughout the school year.

The successful candidate will:

• Monitor students to ensure that there is no malpractice during the exam.
• Distribute stationery and exam papers to the students.
• Ensure that exam conditions are always adhered to.
• Prepare the exam hall and other exam rooms to ensure that it meets requirements.
• Provide support where necessary should an emergency arise e.g. sick students, fire evacuation.
• Answer any queries that a student may have about the exam.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role with secondary school children or within an educational setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Currently residing in the UK.
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service.
• Passion for education and student support.
