You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across br the Group and external advisers to ensure the executive remuneration framework br attracts, retains and motivates top-tier talent whilst complying with br regulations, shareholder and other stakeholder interests, and necessary governance br practices. br br The role will take the lead on preparing all regulatory br submissions and disclosures as they relate to remuneration, such as the br Directors’ Remuneration Report. It will also lead the preparation of the annual br plan and all materials for the Drax Group Remuneration Committee meetings, such br as drafting of papers. br br This is an individual contributor role which collaborates br extensively with cross-function teams (HR, Finance, Company Secretariat, and br others) and manages external advisers and vendors. The incumbent in this role br will be the Group’s subject matter expert on executive compensation globally (which br is principally UK and US for now) and will develop and maintain strong br relationships with Senior Management and Board members. strong br br Who we’re looking for: br /strong To br be successful in this role you’ll have significant previous executive br compensation experience in a publicly traded company, or through consulting in br a management consultancy or audit firm. A deep understanding of executive br compensation principles and practices, governance standards and compliance br regulatory requirements, and also of equity-based compensation vehicles with br regards to cultural fit, local practices and administration requirements and br processes. You’ll ideally have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR, Business, br Finance, Accounting or a related field. br br You’ll br possess excellent written and presentation skills (Word and PowerPoint), with br extensive experience in writing Remuneration Committee papers and public br documents reports and other disclosures. Alongside stellar communication skills br with the ability to influence and build relationships with senior leaders and br the ability to work in a consultative and collaborative manner with br cross-functional teams including HR, Company Secretariat, Finance and Legal. br br With br a sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Excel you’ll have excellent analytical br skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, and excellent br organisational and project management skills with high attention to detail.
