Our visions and values ensure that we put our students first and value our staff as our greatest asset.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Director of Employer Engagement, Apprenticeships and Skills, which will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic vision to grow our apprenticeship programs and employer partnerships.The post will lead strategically on employer engagement and skills across the organisation, working collaboratively to ensure the college meets local skills needs through the curriculum we deliver, the preparation of our students for the world of work and the development of clear careers pathways to local employers.The postholder will lead, through direct line management, on the expansion and development of our Apprenticeship offer, our Work Experience offer for young students, Distance Learning and Employer Engagement.Our successful candidate will bring a strong track record in a leadership position supporting employer engagement and apprenticeships together with substantial experience in managing business development and quality improvement of apprenticeship provision.Forward-looking and student focused, you will demonstrate experience of consistently driving up academic standards and delivering excellent student outcomes, while communicating the college’s vision, creating high performing teams and inspiring innovation.Apart from our great location, our wonderful staff and positive culture, we also offer a range of other staff benefits, including generous annual leave and defined benefit pension schemes.
