We are looking to appoint a new key senior appointment as Executive Director of Estates and Capital Projects at Stoke on Trent College.
The College has two campuses offering a positive and inclusive learning environment to support the Colleges ambition to deliver the highest quality training and learning programmes that help improve the life chances and the economic prosperity of all of our learners, partners, employers and local communities.
We are seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of developing and implementing estates development programmes across diverse and complex property portfolios. A positive and natural collaborator, you will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

We have a £14 million capital programme with a range of projects which will equip over 7000 students with skills for the future. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who wants to join our senior team to support us in making a difference in delivery of our ambition.
This is a strategic role overseeing the Estates Strategy and ensuring that there is robust and managed delivery of the Strategy, and leading an Estates and Capital team to deliver on our ambition.
The successful candidate will need to have experience of leading and managing the transformation of estates and work professionally with external project management companies, stakeholders and the Executive team to effectively lead the delivery of the Colleges capital build and other smaller or minor works projects from bid to occupancy and to ensure completion to agreed quality (including impact and functionality), time and cost objectives.
To successfully deliver the intended outcomes of this important role you will have a successful track record of strategic and operational management of large and multiple capital projects. This will be coupled with experience of working to public sector demands and context or similar, on deadlines, compliance and integrity of projects.
