(1pm-9pm)

£12.94 - £15.33 P/H

We are seeking, on behalf of our esteemed client, a skilled and detail-orientated CNC operator to join their existing team. The CNC operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality glass products according to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with CNC machinery, preferably in a glass environment.

• Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Experience in using machines
• Work in accordance with process procedures, work order instructions, drawings, and other production documents
• Using Icam software, CAD software and dxf files and customer drawings
• Ability to follow the standard operating procedures in place to maintain safety and quality
• Assist with troubleshooting problems with equipment, devices, or products
• Maintain equipment. Detect and correct minor machine malfunctions and perform daily and monthly machine maintenance as directed
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area
• Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements
• Physically fit (some manual handling required)
