Experienced Electrician

M4 Specialist are recruiting for experienced Electricians who are located within a 20 mile radius of  the AL7 1GX postcode. Our Client, an Air Conditioning Company, specialise in a wide variety of installation and maintenance of electrical services covering London and surrounding home counties.

Responsibilities

Carrying out electrical installation/remedial works both Commercial & Domestic in line with current regulations

Carrying out all aspects of electrical works on projects from installation to test and commissioning within agreed programmes

Providing procurement information for materials required for projects, ensuring the distribution and safe keeping of materials on site and notification of any defects/shortfalls

Maintaining an effective liaison with the Client or Clients representative and advising line manager where appropriate

Completing testing and commissioning certification

Providing technical advice to employees and clients

Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety requirements on site

Ensuring all relevant paperwork is returned to the office in a timely fashion

Requirements (Essential)

• City & Guilds 236 Parts 1, 2 (or City & Guilds 2330)


• NVQ3


• City & Guilds 18th Edition


• A full UK valid driving license is essential

Must have excellent customer service skills with strong attention to detail

Candidates must have good organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met, and be able to demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to get to the heart of a problem to take it through to completion

Basic computer knowledge

Requirements (Desirable)

·City & Guilds 2391

·It is desirable for the candidate to have IPAF/PASMA and CSCS however this is not essential as the correct training can be offered by the company to obtain these.

Rewards

Salary: £37,500k - £42,500 per year, depending on experience plus overtime

The successful candidate will be entitled to 20 days holiday plus bank holidays with the benefit of accumulating additional days annually after 2 years
