Export Manager

We are pleased to be partnered with an established & growing forwarder in the Essex area who are on the hunt for an Export Manager / Supervisor to join their team:
The ideal candidate will have:
Extensive knowledge of Incoterms
Proven experience liaising with overseas agents and shipping lines, negotiating rates, and providing quotations to customers
Proficiency in preparing detailed quotations
Strong background in working with agents and freight companies
Expertise in managing bookings, invoicing, and preparing essential documents such as BL, EUR1, COO, CIPL, etc.
Solid understanding of customs clearance, including experience with CDS, CNS, Destin8, and raising entries for both imports and exports
Experience with LCL/FCL sea freight, airfreight, road freight, and courier services
Ability to act as a Key Account Manager for specific customers and handle all aspects of their shipments
Skills in engaging with a variety of hauliers to negotiate competitive rates
Capability to report on and manage job counts, profits, and job targets
Salary up to £45,000
