Their commitment to sustainability, innovation, and excellence has positioned them as a leader in the global wine market. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Export Sales Manager to join their team and drive our growth in the European market.The Export Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase their market presence in Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wine sales, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the European wine market. This role requires travel within Europe and close collaboration with our global sales and marketing teams.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth and sales targets in the European market.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including distributors, retailers, and hospitality partners.Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.Manage and expand the existing customer base, fostering strong, long-term relationships.Negotiate and close sales agreements with key accounts.Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.Serve as the brand ambassador for the business, promoting our values and product excellence.Represent the winery at trade shows, wine fairs, and industry events across Europe.Conduct wine tastings, training sessions, and promotional events to increase brand visibility and customer engagement.Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.Provide feedback and insights to the marketing team to support targeted marketing campaigns.You will be an integral part of the global sales team, ensuring allignment of strategies and objectives as well as working cohesively with the marketing department to ensure that the material is tailored to the European market.
