About The Role
Are you an experienced housing professional who is passionate about delivering top-quality services to customers? LiveWest, a leading housing association in the South West, is looking for a dedicated External Agent Manager to join our team.
As our External Agent Manager for our Homeownership team, you will be responsible for ensuring that third-party managing agents - who represent superior landlords and freeholders - deliver exceptional, compliant services to all customers, regardless of tenure.

You will support the Property Compliance team to investigate and, if needed, escalate disputes or instances of non-compliance to third parties.
This is a unique opportunity for you to lead on important processes such as onboarding new developments into management, scrutinising service charge notices, and escalating any non-compliance issues with third parties. You'll be instrumental in developing relationships with managing agents, improving our reporting systems, and driving process improvements that enhance our overall service delivery.
In addition to external collaboration, you'll work alongside internal teams, providing expertise on lease interpretation, service charge provisions, and ensuring third-party landlords are held accountable. This is a dynamic role where you'll be key in creating positive outcomes for both customers and the organisation, helping us maintain high standards of service across our estates.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee lease management services across a portfolio of mixed tenure homes.
Ensure third-party managing agents deliver high-standard services.
Build strong relationships with external agents, landlords and internal teams.
