External Sales Engineer - Electrical / Automation

Are you a self driven Sales Engineer seeking a new exciting challenge?

Do you have experience in the automation and controls industry?

My client are a leading distributor of electrical control gear, PLC's and Automation products and are looking for a External Sales Engineer in Stockport.

The Role

• Develop new business and provide customers with solutions
• Manage own diary and schedule when booking customer appointments
• Generate and deliver competitive quotations to customer
• Build and maintain close relationships with customers
• Study and keep up to date with new market trends and technology

Requirements

• Experience in new business development and managing own diary
• You will likely to have worked as: BDM, Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager or similar selling electrical or automation products
• Knowledge of the automation and controls industry
• Work well using own initiative and in a team
• Perform well under pressure and hit KPI's

Package

• Salary to �50,000 plus commission
• 25 days annual leave plus blank holidays
• Company car
• Company pension
