Extrusion Operative

GMP Recruitment are proud to partner a Leading provider of the highest quality and most cost effective packaging materials development and production. We are recruiting on their behalf for a Extrusion Operative to join their team on a Temp to Perm contract, based in Malvern, Worcestershire.
Please note this is a Temp to Perm Contract with the potential to go permanent.
Working schedule is - Monday to Friday continental shifts: 6am to 2pm/2pm to 10pm/22.00 to 6am on offer for the successful candidate is a highly competitive salary of �24,570

The preferred candidate should be Familiar to the manufacturing processes and have previously worked in a production environment.

Extrusion Operative Main Duties:

• Finishing of products in keeping with company standards.


• Machine Operating or minding if no experience.


• Loading of machinery.


• General Production work.


• Moving parts around the factory to keep the flow of production stable.


• Quality checking parts to ensure that they are correct and defect free pre delivery.

Extrusion Operative Experience Needed:

• Previous Manufacturing experience (Desirable)


• Previous Machine Operating experience (Desirable)


• Previous Welding experience (Desirable)


• Previous Assembly (Desirable)


• Good verbal and written communication skills.


• Must have high attention to detail.


• Willingness to learn as progression path is available for the right candidate.


• Effectively work within a busy environment.


• Handheld tools experience would be advantageous.
