Extrusion Operator – Permanent (Days & Nights)

West Bromwich

£12.21 per hour + shift allowance

39 hours per week across a 2-week rota

We’re looking for an experienced Extrusion Operator to join a busy, well-established manufacturing team. If you have a background in extrusion and are confident in meeting high safety and quality standards, this role could be perfect for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operating extrusion machinery to produce high-quality components

• Measuring and checking products to meet strict standards

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area (5S focus)

• Supporting recycling and scrap reduction initiatives

• Contributing to ongoing process improvements

• Following health & safety procedures at all times

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experience as an extrusion operator is essential

• Background in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment

• Familiarity with measuring tools and basic machine maintenance

• A reliable, team-focused attitude and strong work ethic

• Motivation to meet production targets and maintain quality standards

Shift Pattern:

• Week 1 & 2: Monday - Wednesday 6am - 6pm and Thursday 6am - 12pm

• Shift 3 & 4: Monday - Wednesday 6pm - 6am

Pay:

• £12.21 per hour (depending on experience)

• 22% shift allowance for day shifts

• 25% shift allowance for night shifts
