Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive school team in Hemel Hempstead from Easter 2025 . This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to work in a nurturing environment, where you can make a significant impact on the early development and learning of young children.
As an EYFS Teacher , you will be responsible for delivering a play-based, engaging curriculum to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage . You will support the holistic development of children, ensuring they reach their full potential and build a strong foundation for their future learning journey.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of children in the EYFS.

Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes independent learning and curiosity.

Foster childrens social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development through creative, hands-on activities.

Conduct regular assessments of childrens progress and provide detailed feedback to both parents and staff.

Develop strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues, ensuring a collaborative approach to each childs learning journey.

Safeguard and promote the welfare of all students in line with the schools policies.

Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide events.

Maintain up-to-date records on childrens development, tracking their progress and identifying any areas for additional support.

Key Requirements: A valid teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).

Proven experience teaching within an Early Years setting (EYFS).

A passion for working with young children and supporting their early development.

A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and key developmental milestones.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and colleagues.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.

Desirable: Experience working with children with additional needs (SEN).

Knowledge of current educational initiatives in Early Years education.
