Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Job Description
Job Duties:
Supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher in delivering educational activities to children aged 3-5 years old.
Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning materials and resources.
Supervising and engaging children in indoor and outdoor activities.
Providing individual support to children with additional learning needs.
Assisting with the assessment of children's progress and development.
Supporting the maintenance of a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
Education:
GCSEs in English and Maths.
Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
Experience:
Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting.
Experience supporting children with additional learning needs is desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Patience and empathy when working with young children.
Preferred Qualifications:
First Aid certification.
Training in Safeguarding and Child Protection.
Working Conditions:
Temporary position with Full-Time hours.
Work may involve standing for extended periods and some physical activity.
Based in an educational setting such as a nursery or primary school.
Salary: £11.85 - £12.50 Per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
