Position: Mobile Fabric Technician
Location: Southampton - High street Stores
Salary: �25,000 - �35,000

About the Role:

My client are a large Facilities Maintenance company seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Fabric Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Mobile Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fabric elements across high street stores in Southampton. This will include plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical & mechanical tasks. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from �25,000 to �35,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct PPM's and maintenance in various high street stores.
  • Perform repairs and installations of fabric elements including painting & decorating
  • Ensuring high standards of workmanship.
  • Identify and diagnose issues promptly, providing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with management and other technicians to ensure minimal disruption to store operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fabric Technician or similar role.
  • NVQ or City & Guilds trade certificate - Highly desired
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of fabric maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and team members professionally.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various locations in Southampton.
