Location: Salisbury
Salary: �32,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays

Our client is looking for a dedicated and skilled Fabric Engineer/Handyman to join their dynamic team in Salisbury.

Job Description:

As a Fabric Engineer/Handyman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our client's site. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on building fabric, including carpentry, painting, plastering, and general building work.
• Responding promptly to reactive maintenance requests and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and disruption.
• Assisting with minor plumbing and electrical work as required.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Working collaboratively with other team members and departments to provide a seamless service.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within facilities management.
• Skills in general maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, and plastering.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
