An exciting opportunity to join an established Building Services company based across all of the Guilford, GU postcodes. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Fabric Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a retail contract based in GU postcode area. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
This position would be ideal for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £32,000 with a potential route into further career progression.
Key Duties & Responsibilities\n- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
\n- To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.
\n- To undertake some plumbing activities including but not limited to clearing blockages, attending to burst pipes, replacing components, servicing systems etc.
\n- Painting and Decorating
\n- Assist with office moves (minor office churn) including furniture movers
\n- Liaising with the contract management team
\n- Investigating complaints and taking appropriate action
\n- Ensuring feedback is provided to the helpdesk on the progress of M&E jobs
\n- Carry out specialist technical and non-technical work as deemed appropriate to the continuing maintenance function on the client portfolio
\n- Offer technical support and backup as required
\n- Ensure all personnel and contractors that may be working in hazardous areas take all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment
\n- Use all relevant tools and equipment within the safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works
\n- To ensure the client receives the highest level of service to their assets by carrying out reactive and planned maintenance, minor improvements
\n- Ensure jobs are completed to a high standard
\n- Assist Multi-Skilled Engineers where required
\n
Hours of Work & Package Information
\n- Basic Salary of up to £32,000
\n- 1 in 4 Call Out Rota - £15 per day standby allowance
\n- Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm
\n- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
\n- Company Van & Fuel Card
\n- Tablet & Work Phone Provided
\n- Full company uniform

Requirements\n- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
\n- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
\n- Multi-skilled
\n- Good communication skills
\n
