About the Role

The Fabrication Engineer will maintain the structural integrity of the Rogerstone site by handling fabrication, welding, and repair tasks for key facility components.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair key structural elements such as walls, ceilings, and industrial fridge doors
• Perform welding and fitting for structural repairs across the site
• Install and maintain steel cladding and cold room panels
• Repair large sliding industrial doors, including worn-out rails and damaged seals
• Undertake general maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall upkeep of the facility

About You

We're looking for a hands-on, experienced Fabrication Engineer with a background in steelwork, cladding, and welding. Experience working in high-volume production environments, particularly with industrial fridge doors or cold rooms, will be highly beneficial.

Key Skills

• Experience in fabrication or engineering roles, particularly with steel and cladding
• Welding skills and experience in structural repairs are highly advantageous
• Familiarity with cold rooms and industrial fridge doors is beneficial
• Comfortable working on rotating shifts (Mon-Fri) and occasional weekend work
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair structural components independently

Working Hours

• Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00 (weekly rotation)
