Fabrication Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Fabrication Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer based in Sevenoaks, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team in an established company known for its innovation and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the fabrication of components and structures in line with technical drawings and specifications.


• Supervise and manage the fabrication process, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and safety requirements.


• Select and source the most appropriate materials for various fabrication projects.


• Provide technical guidance and support to the production team.


• Inspect and test fabricated parts and structures for compliance with project specifications and regulations.


• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or challenges during the fabrication process.


• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design and production departments, to ensure efficient project delivery.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fabrication Engineer or similar role within a manufacturing environment.


• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, including welding, cutting, and assembly techniques.


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.


• Experience with material selection and handling for various types of projects.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.


• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


• A relevant engineering qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, or degree in mechanical/civil/industrial engineering) is preferred.
