Fabricator Welder (Stainless Steel - MIG)

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Engineering company in their search for an experienced Fabricator Welder to work at their Skelmersdale-based workshop

For the successful Fabricator Welder, our client is offering: 

• Up to £24.00 per hour (CIS) (Depending on Experience)
• Up to £18 per hour (PAYE) (Depending on Experience)
• Core Hours: 7am-3:30pm Mon to Thu, Friday is 7am-12:00pm
• Overtime paid at enhanced rates
• Ongoing temporary contract

The Role: Fabricator Welder

• Working in their workshop
• Fabricating a range of different products from start to finish
• Working with stainless steel
• MIG welding 
• Working from engineering drawings
• Conduct regular quality checks.
• Maintain detailed records of work.

What our client is looking for in a Fabricator Welder

• City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent in Welding and Fabrication BENEFICIAL
• Ability to interpret complex drawings - ESSENTIAL
• Proven experience working with stainless steel - ESSENTIAL
• Proven experience of MIG welding - ESSENTIAL
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Coded or previously coded - BENEFICIAL
• Driving Licence and access to a car - ESSENTIAL
