Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our Clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques, particularly stick welding. This role involves fabricating and assembling components from sheet metal, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Duties

• Fabricate components using sheet metal according to specifications and drawings.


• Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to assemble parts securely.


• Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.


• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.


• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.


• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and resolve any issues that may arise during the fabrication process.


• Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.

Experience

• Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.


• Proficiency in stick welding techniques is essential; additional welding certifications are advantageous.


• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools commonly used in fabrication processes.


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
