Are you an experienced Fabricator or Welder, with he ability to produce welds in TIG, MMA or MAG to a high standard? If so then I have an excellent opportunity with an industry leader in UK's Building Services sector, based in Scarva, delivering a wide range of offsite-prefabricated, innovative, and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Europe. Job Summary The role specifics vary depending if you are purely Welding or Fabricating, but in general you would need to be able to Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics, or join and fabricate a range of pipe configurations by applying appropriate welding techniques and operating various welding devices. Hours: Mon-Thurs 16:45pm - 03:45am Salary:Very Competitive depending on experience Key Responsibilities across both roles: To operate MIG/TIG or MMA welding equipment To read/interpret drawings. Fabricate pipe sets for various pipe diameters (typically carbon steel & stainless steel pipe ranging from 65mm - 500mm) from shop drawings. Use of metal cutting and grinding equipment Responsible for highlighting any faults or damage to the machine and its tooling Clean tools, equipment, and work areas Maintain a safe working environment Any other duties deemed necessary by Management. Essential Criteria: Previous experience in Fabrication and welding with general and pipe welding Previous experience in welding preparation and fit up Previous experience in MMA, MAG or TIG welding processes to high standards Minimum of 3 years' operating as an established experienced fabricator, that includes Pipe Fabrication. Experience in reading, interpreting, and working to Welding procedures Competent using measurement instruments, Fillet gauges etc Desired Criteria: Heavy or structural Fabrication experience Welding qualifications in MMA, MAG or TIG Abrasive wheel training Previous experience within a heavy fabrication, architectural steelwork or welding environment Benefits: Full in-house training and career development opportunities Competitive pension scheme Life assurance scheme Health cash plan Free annual health check during working hours 30 days annual leave increasing in line with length of service.
