Job Type:

Permanent, expected to work full-time hours, working 08:00-17:00 Monday-Thursday and 08:00-12:00 on friday.

30 days off a year (including bank holiday)

£14 - £15 per hour

Job Duties:

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components
• Using welding equipment to join metal parts
• Ensuring finished products meet quality standards
• Following health and safety guidelines at all times

Required Qualifications:

Relevant qualifications in engineering or metal fabrication

Experience:

Proven experience as a fabricator in an engineering environment

Plating experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Strong metalworking skills, including cutting and welding
• Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in metal fabrication or welding

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a workshop environment with exposure to noise and machinery. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
