Fitter - Fabrication�- The Role:

• 
  

  Preparation and fabrication of metal components for machine assembly

  
  


• 
  

  Working to concise engineering drawings and production timescales

  
  


• 
  

  Set up and operate fabricating machines which may include; Press brake, guillotine, punch, saw, drills and welding machines

  
  


• 
  

  Utilising fabrication machinery to bend, cut, punch and otherwise form and assemble welded metal components

  
  


• 
  

  Use of hand tools such as, drilling, grinding and finishing

  
  


• 
  

  To adhere to the company policies and procedures

  
  

�Fitter - Fabrication�- The Person:

• 
  

  Fabrication Experience working from Technical Drawings to close tolerances

  
  


• 
  

  Sheet Metal Background working with thin gauge Mild steel and Stainless

  
  


• 
  

  Experience of processes to include Rolling, Folding, Cutting and marking out

  
  


• 
  

  MAG Welding Experience to cover M/S, Stainless & Bi-Metal in a range of Thicknesses from 2mm-25mm

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working to a high-quality finish on all the above materials

  
  


• 
  

  Time served/Apprenticeship training in Fabrication & Welding

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work well alone as well as part of a skilled team

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to time manage and work to a planned timescale

  
  


• 
  

  Availability to work overtime

  
  

Located in Shropshire, this role is commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.
