Facilities Engineer

Facilities Services Engineer - Edinburgh City Center - Salary up to £40,000
CBW have a new opportunity for a an electrically biased engineer to join a leading facilities provider. Covering a large commercial site in Edinburgh City Center.
Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Carry-out Planned Maintenance as required on HVAC, Electrical, and Life Safety Systems (Some Building Fabric Maintenance and Repair maybe required.)
\n
• Carry out and complete reactive works in a prompt and effective manner.
\n
• Adherence to all aspects of H&S compliance always ensuring safe working practices.
\n
• Monitoring and responding to site BMS systems.
\n
• Ensure accurate stock control and reporting.
\n
• Take part in on-call rota (Pool van provided)
\n

Person Specification:

\n
• Full driving licence required.
\n
• Formal Apprenticeship and formal trade qualifications in a technical field (Electrical Bias preferred)
\n
• At least 3 years post Apprenticeship experience.
\n
• Experience of large-scale mechanical and electrical plant associated with a modern large scale commercial space.
\n
• Experience within HVAC Plant, UPS Systems, LTHW & Chilled Water Systems, Low Voltage Distribution networks, Building Management Systems, Control Legionella in water systems (L8).
\n
• Customer and client facing experience.
\n
• Qualified to 18th Edition.
\n
