Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Assistant to undertake work with our Newcastle-based client.

What's on offer?

  • 35 hours per week
  • £13.90 per hour

We're recruiting a Facilities Maintenance Assistant to take care of and service our client's facility in Newcastle. You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing the daily activities on-site, ensuring all equipment functions properly, and address any challenges, escalating issues as needed
  • Ensuring a safe environment, serve as Fire Warden and First Aider, and comply with Health and Safety protocols
  • Offering a welcoming reception for visitors, and conducting building orientations when requested
  • Regularly inspect the floor and locker areas, uphold cleanliness standards, manage storage, and reporting any issues
  • Assisting with equipment, meeting room setups, and delivery handling

To be successful within this Facilities Maintenance Assistant role, you will ideally have experience in a similar discipline. Combined with the following skills and traits:
